Dunkin’ Donuts will be celebrating the opening of the hundredth metro Atlanta area Dunkin’ Donuts store on Saturday. The new store, which opened this month at 6020 Atlanta Highway in Alpharetta, will host a ribbon cutting by John Costello, president of global marketing and innovation for Dunkin’ Brands, and Todd Levent, Forsyth county commissioner.

The event will also include giveaways for the first 100 guests, Dunkin’ and Coca-Cola mascots, Dunkin’ prize wheel and a live radio remote hosted by Cindy Simmons from Star 94.1. Coca-Cola’s polar bear mascot and the Atlanta Hawks flight crew will both be on site welcoming guests with giveaways as well as raffling tickets and gear.

The Alpharetta store is owned by franchisees in the area, Stephen Attard and James Laskaris.

“We’re thrilled to be celebrating the 100th Atlanta store and highlighting this booming market,” says company field marketing manager, Celia Cody. “Stephen and James have been integral to the continued growth of the Dunkin’ Brand in this area and it is fitting that we are celebrating both the 100th store opening and the dedicated franchisees who are so important to this brand.”

The 100th store event theme will be reflected in the various festivities taking place. The first 100 guests to arrive at the event will receive commemorative T-shirts and the 100th guest will be showered with confetti and presented with a $100 gift card. Atlanta-themed donuts will be available and every hour a raffle will be held for tickets to Hawks games, Six Flags and The World of Coca-Cola.
