The Alpharetta Department of Public Safety has created a video in an effort to support breast cancer awareness.

The video has been submitted nationally to the www.pinkglovedance.com website sponsored by Medline.

The winner of the pink glove dance competition will receive a $25,000 award which will be donated to an appropriate recipient.

The Alpharetta Department of Public Safety has identified and teamed up with the Atlanta 2 Day, “It’s the Journey” organization to be the recipient of the award should they win.

To vote for the department’s video entry, visit www.pinkglovedance.com/videos/2013-video-contest/alpharetta-department-of-public-safety/ or enter “Alpharetta” in the search box at www.pinkglovedance.com.

Each voter can vote once a day.

Alpharetta Public Safety Director Gary George said, “These public safety professionals and volunteers have come together to support a very worthy cause. I issue a challenge to our wonderful community to make Alpharetta the winner.”
