Two newcomers for Doraville City Council

Dawn O'Connor garners 58 percent of the vote over District 2 incumbent Brian Bates, who received 41 percent.

For the District 3 Council seat, incumbent Karen Pachuta gets 42 percent of the vote, while her opponent Sharon Spangler wins the seat with 56 percent of the vote.

Thanks to everyone that had the intelligence to vote for candidates that will improve our city and listen to their constituents. Doraville at last will be free of two more of the old guard and can start planning a bright future for the 21st century with these two bright and rising stars. Congratulations to you all!
