Mayor Wheeler reelected for Stone Mountain post

Stone Mountain Mayor Patricia Wheeler will keep her seat after garnering 52 percent of the vote against her opponent Cyril Mungal, who received 47 percent.

City Council Post 5 incumbent Steve Higgins was reelected with 64 percent of the vote, against opponent Diana Roe Hollis, who received 36 percent.

Newcomer Andrea Redmond won the City Council Post 6 seat with 54 percent of the vote against her opponent David Thomas who received 46 percent.

For the special election for the Post 2 city council seat, newcomer Steve Wells won with 62 percent of the vote against Paul Hollis who received 38 percent.
