Award-winning author Bobbi Kornblit’s debut novel, “Shelter from the Texas Heat,” transports readers to a bygone era that is coming to the forefront again: the “Kennedy Camelot Years” of the 1960s. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy Nov. 22, 1963, and interest in the topic is renewed.
Kornblit, a Buckhead resident, spoke at the Dallas Public Library in Texas Thursday during the week of the official commemoration of the tragedy in Dallas.
