Ken Carbone, co-founder and chief creative director of the Carbone Smolan Agency in New York, will share what drives his design, life and uncensored in a lecture, “Design Conversation: Ken Carbone on Why We Design,” Wednesday at the Museum of Design Atlanta in Midtown.

From the pages of his recently published book, “Dialog,” Carbone highlights the process and product his award-winning design firm has crafted over the past 35 years. With a celebrated client roster such as Christie’s, W Hotels and the Musée du Louvre, Carbone presents his curiously curious approach to design and why he’s still very much in the game.

The lecture starts promptly at 7 p.m. Guests should arrive at the museum by 6:45 in order to be seated.
