UPDATE: Trees down in three locations in Douglas County

UPDATED, 7:30 p.m.:

Douglas County Sheriff's Office reported a car hit a tree at Midway Road and Bankhead Highway, with the tree across the roadway.

In addition, a tree was down in the area of I-20 and Hwy. 92; and on power lines at Central Church Road and Reynolds Road.

Earlier, a power pole was down with lines attached at Post Road and Hwy. 78, while trees were on power lines on Central Church Road and Hwy. 166.

A tree was down and blocking the road at Andy Mountain and Conners Road.

However, the department reported the clearing of trees down and blocking the roadway at Hwy. 166 and Hwy. 5 between the roundabout and Fire Station 4 near South Douglas Elementary; and in the area of Hwy. 92/166, Victory and Hildebrand.

A wreck on I-20 beneath the Lee Road bridge also has been cleared.

Mirror Lake Parkway at Shoreline Parkway was closed due to ice, the sheriff's department reported.
