Atlanta offering Love Your Block grants

The city of Atlanta last week announced it is accepting applications for projects in its Love Your Block program through March 28 at 5 p.m.

Since 2012, the program has supported more than 70 neighborhood groups across the city and in every council district. Any neighborhood group can receive up to $1,000 in funds to support their beautification projects.

The program is a partnership between the city and Hands On Atlanta, the Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta and the Atlanta Community Tool Bank. All nonprofits, community groups, residents and previous grantees are eligible to apply. All projects must follow regular city approval processes.

Completed applications can be sent via email to or in person to City Hall (ATTN: Chief Service Officer: 55 Trinity Ave., Suite 2400, Atlanta GA 30303.
