Earlier this month the [U.S.] Environmental Protection Agency issued a news release [announcing] Administrator Gina McCarthy was going on a nationwide tour, starting April 21 and ending April 25, promoting President [Barack] Obama’s climate action plan.

According to the release, Atlanta was on the tour and McCarthy met April 24 with the Hip Hop Caucus Act on Climate Tour “to speak about disproportionate impacts and costs of climate change.”

All of these activities were to convince the country to abandon use of our abundant fossil fuels due to misguided beliefs carbon dioxide from burning fossil fuels causes global warming (climate change).

Carbon dioxide from burning fossil fuels has a negligible impact on climate compared to natural forces in existence for millions of years. McCarthy’s activities wasted tax dollars and promoted policies that will impoverish our nation.
