Voting seems to be going well in Douglas County this morning as election officials at two voting precincts in Douglasville have reported no problems.

At the Boundary Waters Park precinct, 5000 Georgia Highway 92/166 East in Douglasville, poll manager Connie Tallant said about 30 people had voted by 8:45 a.m.

“When we opened at seven, there were five people in line,” she said.

“Things are going smoothly,” Tallant said.

At the Deer Lick Park precinct, 2105 Mack Road in Douglasville, a voting official there, who did not want to be identified, would only say that voting was going smoothly and there had been no problems.
