At noon today, Paulding County voters had cast 2,442 votes at the county’s 14 polling sites.

Paulding County Elections and Registration Office Assistant Supervisor Georgia Penegar said that number does not represent a large percentage of the county’s 79,000 registered voters.

“However, we haven’t experienced any problems at our polling sites that we haven’t been able to handle,” Penegar said.

The polls remain open until 7 p.m. and those in line to vote at 7 will be allowed to do so.
