This morning I voted in the primary runoff election at my polling place, High Point Elementary School in Sandy Springs.

There was no line – two people were ahead of me but there was plenty of room for me to sit down at a table and fill out a form before moving on to the next station, where another poll worker or volunteer would take my form and give me an electronic card to vote with.

Only 18 residents had voted as of 8:21 a.m., when I arrived, and two came in after I did while I was there. The precinct has 4,587 registered voters, Poll Manager Nate Bednar said, so turnout is expected to be low, possibly less than 10 percent.

I had no problems voting. The whole process took about three minutes.

But how was your voting experience? Did you encounter any problems at the polls? Please post a comment on this story. We want your voice heard on the matter. Thanks.
