Anticipated additional traffic on Macland Road, also known as Ga. Hwy. 360, due to the Corky Kell Classic football games at McEachern High School in Powder Springs could hinder traffic flow Aug. 22 and 23, according to information on the county web site.

An estimated crowd of more than 40,000 fans is expected to attend seven back-to-back games beginning Aug. 22 at 4 p.m. and running through most of Aug. 23. However, crowds could be much larger and the majority will access this site via Macland Road with C.H. James Parkway and U.S. Hwy. 278 also being affected, county officials warn.
