Benson center to host scams workshop

Fulton County’s Dorothy C. Benson Senior Multipurpose Complex, 6500 Vernon Woods Drive in Sandy Springs, will host a workshop titled “How to Identify and Avoid Senior Scams” Thursday from 10 a.m. to noon.

Attorneys Chris Brannon and Paul Black of the Brannon Law Firm LLC will conduct the workshop. Specific topics covered will include mail scams, telephone scams, email or computer scams and theft. Seniors will gain information on how to prevent becoming a victim to common scams.
